Thirty-five years of restaurant experience that spans the globe make dining at Caffe Graziani a special treat. Giovanni is a native of Piglio, Italy, a small village located 30 miles south of Rome. |
| He speaks 4 languages, having worked in France, Great Britain, Germany, Hong Kong and, of course, Italy. He came to the United States in 1989, with his Boston-born wife, Paula. Together they opened the Caffé Graziani in Salem in August of 1991. Since then, the business and the family have grown. |

And don't forget mother-in-law, Mary Ann, who bakes her famous Ricotta Pie, one of several homemade desserts that earned the Caffé honors in North Shore's People's Choice Awards |
| On October 10, 1996, Giovanni continued his "American Dream" when he became a U.S. Citizen and was featured in a front page story in the Salem Evening News. | |
